Beta Chi Chi Chapter was chartered on January 8, 2005 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, Rochester, NY with 18 members. Soror Beatrice McCloud was instrumental in planting the seed which brought our chapter to fruition. With the help and tending of the other 17 charter members Beta Chi Chi has continued to grow and bloom. There are 35 members, 31 of whom are active.
Since chartering, Beta Chi Chi members have been active in the Rochester
community in the areas of disease prevention, health education, fund raising
for nursing scholarships, and partnering with other organizations to serve
the community.
